The handle of the Humble Brush is 100% biodegradable bamboo. Bamboo is the fastest-growing material on earth. It is inherently antibacterial and does not require fertilizers or pesticides to grow. Bamboo fits brilliantly on the handle of the toothbrush, as it is a naturally non-slip material. The holistic ecology also continues in the packaging: the brush is packed in a transparent and biodegradable, entirely plant-based wrap. The cardboard packaging of the brush is made of 100% recycled material. The Humble brush's stem can be cut into the compost, but unfortunately, the bristles belong to the energy or mixed waste. For every brush sold, Humble Brush donates a portion to development aid through the Humble Smile Foundation.
